2 Flying Boys's favourites

• Bar CañeteVery popular with locals, so book a table; even their picky eater loved the food
• Molnár's kürtőskalácsThey call it the tastiest chimney cake (kürtőskalács) in Budapest – go for dessert.
• The ClumsiesRanked 17th on World's 50 Best Bars; colourful design and cocktails, and it's never too early for a drink.
• GardalandBuy tickets online and, if budget allows, the express pass to skip queues – it saved them.
• Adonis Baths WaterfallsWorth it even without a jeep tour: €10 entry, spotless, 15 min from the centre. The pool water is freezing.
• Old Spitalfields MarketCome hungry: food stalls from around the world, including smoked meat wraps.
