Every day, we make lots of decisions about what we feel like eating and enjoying: when we write out our shopping list, at the (super)market, in the kitchen, in restaurants. What we actually buy, prepare and eat depends on many questions and different conditions. Once we've made our choice, everything that has gone into the food usually remains invisible, along with the impact of our choices – on others, the environment, the climate, our own bodies. FoodPrints takes a closer look at food. Indeed, a look at the history of technology and nutrition reveals that many of today's pressing issues are not new. Historical and global knowledge can bring about innovations and contribute to solutions. Food is about culture and technique, a basic human need and a lifestyle, an expression of abundance and joie de vivre, a resource, but also a consumption of resources. And how we eat today influences tomorrow's world. The United Nations 2030 Agenda comprises 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) for a sustainable future, and nutrition is a central theme. An end to hunger, a safeguarded and balanced diet for all, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture are formulated as global goals. Across six stations the exhibition guides the visitor through the history and future of food and nutrition, with lots of interesting looks at the bigger picture as it addresses questions such as: What challenges do we face today, both locally and globally? Where do they come from? What innovative approaches are there to resolving them? And what will the food of the future look like? ¿Qué contiene? What's in it? 📍PARQUE DE LAS CIENCIAS ANDALUCÍA G...
