Montmartre: Sacré-Cœur et Le Relais de la Butte
A walk through Montmartre in Paris — the Sacré-Cœur basilica, the love-lock railing with the city view, cobbled backstreets and the terrace of Le Relais de la Butte. The creator shares it fondly and says she'll add it all to her Montmartre Highlight.
Places
- Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de MontmartreClimb the many stairs in comfy shoes; come at sunset for the best view over Paris — crowded, with buskers on the steps at weekends.
- Square Louise MichelSit on the lawns below Sacré-Cœur at sunset — also where the love-lock railing viewpoint is.
- Le Relais de la ButteTerrace spot passed on the Montmartre walk near Sacré-Cœur.
